Innsbruck

Innsbruck is located in the western part of Austria, equally distant from the German and Italian borders. Strategically important, in the central part of the Alps, it is one of the few large cities in this mountain range. As the administrative, economic and cultural center of the province of Tyrol, it is a separate city district. Today, Innsbruck is an important tourist destination on the map of this European country with as many as eight of the most exclusive ski resorts and a glacier on Stubai, which are open 365 days a year. However, it is not only winter sports fans who visit Innsbruck. Tourists from all over the world come here to enjoy the peaceful city of narrow medieval streets and tall Gothic buildings, beautiful views of the Alps and fresh mountain air.
